Telemetry from common flight controllers

Will UVS Link work with my flight controller?

The Air module sends flight-controller telemetry to the ground together with the video — over the same encrypted link.

02 · Outputs

Video goes where you already watch it

How does the video get into my system?

UVS Link

  • USB, no drivers

A computer sees the UVS Link ground station as a standard USB camera (UVC).

  • Ethernet streaming

A video stream into QGroundControl or any other system that accepts network video.

  • Desktop application

Configures the UVS Link units and shows video and telemetry on the operator’s computer.

UVS FPV Scanner and UVS Detector

  • HDMI monitor

UVS FPV Scanner puts the video, spectrum, waterfall and channel list on one HDMI monitor.

  • Integration API

UVS Detector in the Full network mode: an API for external systems and a shared signature database.

03 · Diagram

From the aircraft to your ground system

Where exactly do the video and telemetry go?

The video is encrypted on board, the Repeater relays it without decrypting it, and the ground station hands it to your PC and to the network.

Diagram: the aircraft with its camera, flight controller and Air module sends encrypted video and telemetry over X-band to the Repeater, which flies on its own drone; the Repeater relays the stream about another 10 km to the Ground station. The station hands the video to the operator PC over USB as a standard camera, the telemetry to the PC, and over Ethernet streams the video into QGroundControl or any other system that accepts network video.
